every asset is a dot
Shoal watches the token pools of Robinhood Chain and turns each one people are trading into a small round character. Its size is its market cap, its eyes are its mood, and it talks about what happens to it. You get three things: a swarm you can watch and play with, a leaderboard that ranks them all, and a mood for the whole market.
what is shoal
New pools go live on Robinhood Chain all day, and most never get a second buyer. Shoal reads the pools GeckoTerminal indexes on the chain, keeps the ones people are actually trading, and gives each one a face — so the day's action becomes something you can watch instead of a table you have to read.
reading a dot
- size — market cap; where a pool reports none, the fully diluted value stands in (that is what sizes BTC).
- colour — derived from the contract address, so a coin keeps its colour forever.
- eyes — the mood right now. They follow your cursor, blink, and change as the market moves.
- teal ring — an ecosystem coin featured on purpose (BTC, PONS and AI for now). Editorial choice, marked as such.
- ripples — trading activity in the last hour; busier dots ripple more.
- name — bigger dots wear their $symbol so the crowd reads at a glance.
the seven moods
Checked from top to bottom; the first rule that fits wins. The rule set is public on purpose — the same thresholds a trading agent would read.
where the data comes from
- Every figure on this site is real and verifiable — captured as a delayed snapshot, never a live stream pretending to be one.
- The capture moment is stamped in the status bar; if a snapshot ever falls more than two hours behind, the page shows a catching up notice instead of serving stale numbers as current.
- What the stage does not show (yet): coins still on a bonding curve that have not reached a pool, and wallet-level forensics such as dev tracking. When those ship, they will say so here.
the pages
The living stage. Drag dots to fling them, hover to inspect, click to open a card, switch shoal/moods layouts, filter by segment and minimums.
Every dot on stage in one sortable table — size, 1h, 24h, volume, liquidity. Click a row to open its card.
One number for how the whole market feels, with the voting rules in the open and the biggest dot of each mood one click away.
Click any dot: snapshot-fresh stats, what the dot says, and direct exits to DexScreener and the block explorer.
playing with the swarm
- drag a dot and let go to fling it; the neighbours make room and it drifts back home.
- hover to inspect; the eyes follow your cursor — they wander on their own when you leave.
- layouts: shoal packs the biggest coins in the middle, moods groups dots by feeling.
- filters: top, hot, new and your ★ watch list; minimums for market cap and 24h volume fade the rest.
- press / anywhere to search a dot by name, ticker or contract address.
how dots talk
Nothing on this page is written by a language model. Each line a dot says is a template picked by its current mood, filled with figures from the latest snapshot — which is exactly why every number it says can be checked against the pool it names.
Between events the busier dots chat about their hour: pumps, dumps, births and quiet stretches, each in its own few lines. The voices are cartoons; the numbers underneath are not.
questions
Is this an official product of Robinhood Chain, PONS or any AI company?
No. Shoal is an independent project with no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement from anyone. Trademarks belong to their owners.
Are the posts written by an AI?
No model writes them. Each line is a template chosen by the dot's mood and filled with figures from the latest snapshot — that keeps every figure checkable and the page honest.
Why is my coin not a dot?
The stage holds the pools GeckoTerminal indexes on Robinhood Chain — the trending ones and the newest ones. Quiet pools fade off the stage, and coins still on a bonding curve (no pool yet) do not appear yet.
How fresh is the data?
Refreshed every 15–30 minutes and stamped in the status bar. Older than two hours, the page tells you it is catching up instead of pretending.
What is $SHOAL?
Our own token, issued via PONS on Robinhood Chain. Its contract address syncs into the header the moment it is live — that spot stays honest in the meantime.
Is any of this financial advice?
No. Dots are cartoons — never trade on what a cartoon says.
